Larry's not working now because he's on oxygen all the time. We'll be going down to Columbus on the 3rd to have two ports to be put in to his chest so they can take out his white blood cells to treat them with light radiation, and then put them back in. They hope this will get the graft-versus-host disease under control. We will also be going down to Columbus three times a week until they can get him stable again.

We didn't find out anything new on what is going on with Larry today at his doctors appointment. The doctor is having him go to see a lung specialist to see why he is having trouble with his oxygen level. We go back to see the doctor in four weeks, and the specialist as soon as they can get it set up. I'll let every one know anything as soon as I know anything. He's home now.

He's on oxygen now all the time. We go back down to Columbus tomorrow for one more test, and to see the doctor. I'll let you know what we find out. It's the graft-versus-host disease that's giving him the trouble.

July 16 - 2010

Larry went down to Columbus for a checkup with the doctor. Everything is still the same. Larry is still having a lot of pain in his joints, so the doctor is moving some of his meds around to see if that will help with the pain. We need to keep a close watch for anything that's not normal with him. We go back down to Columbus in October for his next checkup.

3/22/10

3/22/2010 OK we're back from the doctors. Larry's still in total remission, and the doctor said that everything is still looking very good. We don't have to go back down again for four months this time. The doctor is cutting back on his prograf this time to see how he will do. There's some tests that we will not know about until we go back and see him. He said that if anything comes up on them he will call.
